August 24, 2005
Cogsdale Corporation is pleased to announce that it has been chosen by the North Penn Water Authority, located in Lansdale, PA to provide a new enterprise resource planning and utility billing system.
In the first stage of the project, January 2005, NPWA implemented Microsoft Business Solutions - Great Plains financials including General Ledger, FRx Financial Reports, Accounts Payable, Inventory, Payroll, Fixed Assets and Project Management. The second phase of the project will involve the installation of Great Plains-based Cogsdale Customer Service Management, which includes Utility Billing, Electronic Meter Reading, Service Orders, Collections, Electronic Funds Transfer, Receivables Management, and Cashiering, expected to begin in October 2005.
When the project is complete, NPWA will have a fully integrated financial management, utility billing and customer information system. Cogsdale began the implementation phase in January 2005 and North Penn Water District is expected to go live in the spring of 2006.
"We were selecting a new system for the long term, and our decision team found Cogsdale CSM had both the functionality and flexibility we required to meet current and planned business needs," Dale Reichenbach, financial director for NPWA, said. "This is a solution, and a company, that earned our trust."
