Deltaware Wins 2009 Corporate Citizenship Award

Charlottetown - DeltaWare Systems Inc. (DeltaWare) was awarded the 2009 Corporate Citizenship Award at The Canadian Health Informatics Awards hosted by the Information Technology Association of Canada (ITAC) Health on November 19th in Toronto.
The first annual Corporate Citizenship Award was one of several that were handed out at the Gala event in Toronto. The award was established to recognize leading for-profit healthcare companies that are both committed to and passionate about health informatics and have heavily invested in contributing to the industry in Canada. The award criteria includes an organization that actively participates in promoting and developing Canada's Healthcare industry; providing visible leadership in the healthcare industry; supports educational initiatives and academic organizations; participates in standards and other infrastructure activities; participation in associations, volunteer boards, academic and healthcare institutions; and recognized by clients and peers for having a long term commitment to industry.
Mike Hennessey, VP, was on hand for the ceremony and said "it is an honor to be recognized for our efforts in the healthcare industry. We take great pride in being involved in industry. We have an extraordinary staff that contribute to our success, and we certainly wouldn't be where we are today without their hard work and dedication."
